General Notes on Software Protection
Get general tips on how to avoid errors related to LINEAR softwares protection.
- Make sure that the search settings in the LINEAR Admin are set correctly.
- Make sure that no security software (virus scanner/firewall) is installed on your client that prevents access to the software protection.
To test this, disable all security programs on your PC and then check if your software protection is now found.
- Make sure that the Sentinel (LDK, HASP or LOCAL) License Manager service has been started.
- Make sure your PC is connected to the Internet, as software protection needs to be checked at a 30-day interval and software protection needs to be connected to the Internet at least once for verification within that period.
