Connecting with a Pipe (Welded Connection)

Before you begin

You want to create a welded connection to another pipe during the construction of a pipe.

Requirements:

The Draw pipe < command is active.

Navigate to:

Project tabDiscipline3D - Floor planning // 3D - Model planningCreate tabCommand group Pipes

Initial situation:

Procedure

  1. Start the Draw pipe < command and draw a pipe.
  2. Right-click to open the context menu and select the Pipe (welded) ... option under Connect to ....
    Note: For the command to be available, a first pipe section must be drawn, e.g. with a bend.

  3. Select the pipe to which the pipe is to be welded.

Results

The two pipes have been welded together.
