Creating a Pipe Offset

Shows step-by-step how to create a pipe offset when pipes collide with each other.

Before you begin

Pipes collide in your model and you want to solve the collision with a pipe offset.

Navigate to:

Project tabDiscipline3D planningCreate tabCommand group "Pipes"

Applies to: Heating, Cooling, Potable Water, Waste Water, Gas

Initial situation:

Procedure

  1. Open the options for the Pipe offset < command.

  2. Enter the values for the minimum horizontal (x) and vertical (y) distances in mm.
  3. Select the radian dimension to be used from the Offset bend drop-down list.
  4. Click on the Pipe offset < button to start the command.
  5. Select the pipes that collide with each other.

  6. Confirm the selection with Enter.
    The possible variants for the offset are then displayed in the drawing.
  7. Use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to select the desired offset variant and confirm your selection by pressing Enter.

Results

The selected variant of the pipe offset has been created.
