Creating a Height Jump from the Storey Table

Shows step-by-step how to perform a height jump with a pipe or air duct.

Before you begin

You want to perform a height jump to a reference height, e.g. based on the levels in the storey table, for the vertical construction of pipes or air ducts.

Requirements:

The Draw pipe < or Draw duct < command is active.

Note:

The Height jump option is only available in the context menu during vertical construction.

Navigate to:

Project tabDiscipline3D - Model planningCreate tabCommand group Pipes

Procedure

  1. For example, continue drawing vertically upwards after a bend.
  2. Right-click during the drawing process to open the context menu.

  3. Under Height jump, select the option from storey table.
  4. The Storey table dialog opens.
  5. Select a storey for the height jump and confirm by clicking OK.

Results

The height jump is performed to the height of the selected storey and a bend is created. The pipe or air duct is extended accordingly and you can continue drawing.
