Moving Components

Shows step-by-step how to move a component to another position using the Move component < command.

Before you begin

You want to move a component to another position.

Note:

When using the command, any existing component connections are disconnected.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline ➤ 3D - Model planning ➤ Command group Pipes

Procedure

Click on the Move component < button to start the command.
Select the component to be moved with a click.

Note: You can move several components at the same time by selecting them with a selection frame.
Confirm the selection with Enter.
Do a left click.

Note: Alternatively, you can move the component by entering coordinates in the command line. To do this, follow the instructions in the command line.

The component is attached to the crosshairs and you can move it freely.
Click to place the component at the target position.

Results

The component has been moved to the target position.
