Turning in Front of/Behind/On a Wall with a Pipe or Duct
Shows step-by-step how to make a turn in front of, behind or on a wall or component when drawing pipes or ducts.
Before you begin
You want to construct a pipe or duct and bend in front of, behind or on a wall or component.
Requirements:
The command Draw pipe < must be active.
The procedure is always the same for the options in front of, behind and on component/wall and is explained below using the example of the Turn in front of component/wall option.

Initial situation:
Procedure
- Start the Draw pipe or Draw duct command.
- Draw a pipe towards the component or wall in front of which you want to make a turn when drawing.
- Right-click to open the context menu without closing the drawing command with a click.
- Select the desired option in the context menu under Turn ....
- Click to select the wall in front of which you want to make turn with a pipe or duct.
- A bend is then automatically created with the distance according to the current distance table. Note: You can set which distance table is used in the context menu under Options.
- Use the mouse pointer to determine the direction of the bend and do a click.
Results
A bend has been constructed to make a turn in front of a wall or an object. You can then continue drawing the pipe or duct directly.
