Details on Panel Heating/Cooling Manifold
Information about the dialogs for Panel heating manifold and Panel cooling manifold.
You are here:
You can either enter the panel heating manifold data manually or use the List tab to import a set of manifolds from LINEAR Building file in PRO format. You can then draw and label these manifolds. The manifolds can be connected to supply and return pipes using the Rigid Connect command and can be used for calculation with the program LINEAR Analyse Heating.
Tab single
No. / Name / Pressure loss / Mass flow rate / Heat capacity / Heating circuits / Water volume
These fields set the the corresponding data for the manifold.
Tab list
Load
If you have already or designed panel heating or panel cooling system and created manifolds in LINEAR Building , you can import these manifolds as a list from the PRO file.
Clear
To remove the manifolds from the list before loading manifolds from a PRO file again, click the Clear button.
Design temperatures
Sets the design temperatures for the connected circuits.
Get data <
You can use this command to display data of a manifold to view them on the tab Individual. Click Get data < and select the desired manifold from the drawing.
Assign data <
With this command, you can assign data to an already placed manifold. After clicking Assign data <, select the manifold you want to assign the changed data to. In the process, the labeling of the manifold is updated. Changing the number of heating circuits does not affect the drawn manifold. In this case, the manifold has to be redrawn.
Draw <
After clicking on Draw < you can place the manifold in the drawing according to the default settings.
Labeling <
Click Labeling < and select the manifold to be labeled. Then place the label block in your drawing with a click and determine the alignment of the label block with another click.
