General Settings and Basic Conditions

Explains the concept for general settings regarding the gas pipe network calculation.

Before you start calculating the pipe network after the design, you should make the settings relevant to the calculation in order to achieve realistic results as quickly as possible.

Check the settings for the layers to be included in the detection and decide whether the entire network or only parts of it should be included in the calculation. Select the corresponding design procedure, adjust the limit values to pressure loss and velocity and define the procedure for pressure loss determination.
