About the Labeling and Output Tab
Explains the concept of the Labeling and Output tab.
On the Labeling and Output tab, you will find a variety of functions for dimensioning and labeling, outputting, and editing component data, regardless of the discipline you choose. For a clear structure and overview, the commands are grouped according to their use.
Command group | Description |
---|---|
Label components | The Label components command group contains the labeling function and, in the 3D model planning, the command for assigning and checking position numbers. |
Label drawing | The Label drawing command group contains further commands for labeling the drawing and its elements. Here, you also find the Component List function , with which you can create your own labels and AutoCAD tables, among other things. |
Dimensioning | The Dimensioning command group contains all the dimensioning commands and allows you to access the different dimensioning styles, among others. |
Plot / Print | The Plot / Print command group contains the commands and settings options for plotting and printing your project. You will also find tools for creating assembly plans. |
Export | The Export command group contains commands that allow you to export your project to other data formats and to create a proxy-free project for passing the drawing to other CAD systems. Furthermore, you can output a list of all layers contained in the current drawing. You can use the Component lists function to perform a variety of different tasks. In addition to creating and editing component and room lists, you can use the component lists to create and assign your own custom parameters to elements and export component and room lists to an Excel-compatible format for external editing, among other things. You can also use the component lists to import data in *.xlsx format. |
