Explains the concept of view control of the LINEAR Solutions for AutoCAD.

You can control the visibility of storeys, disciplines, systems and spools and sections or partitions via their light bulb icons. You can also control the visibility of layers using the ELayer command and the QuickLayer function.

The QuickLayer function is a dynamic tool for convenient and comprehensive view control, with which you can manage the individual layers of your drawing. Different profiles are available to ensure that the function is used as appropriately as possible in different applications, e.g. when constructing pipe networks or installing heating and cooling panels. These profiles differ in the composition of the layers so that you are only offered the layers that you need in the current case of application. You can position the QuickLayer dialog freely on the drawing area or dock it to the left edge of the window. In the configuration, you can specify whether the function is activated automatically when the program is started.
