Preparing and Editing Buildings and Architecture

Learn how to prepare drawings provided by an architect to create an architecture for building analysis.

You can import a building model in the form of an IFC file, link IFC architectures or re-design the architecture based on a two-dimensional drawing. Afterwards you can assign further data to the created rooms, for example target temperatures or thermal loads. During building detection, the data is transferred to LINEAR Building and forms the basis for further calculations, such as heat or cooling loads.
