Applies to all disciplines.
Procedure
- Select the label you want to edit in the list of labels.
- Click . The following Note appears:
- Click OK. The dwg file of the label is opened in a separate drawing for editing.
- Adjust the label according to your needs. Tip: If necessary, use the LINEAR Properties to add further variables to the label. Click on the name of the property that is based on the corresponding variable to copy the Parameter ID to the clipboard. The ID is then saved in a format that allows it to be directly used for labels.
If necessary, add prefixes or suffixes between the angle brackets and the vertical hyphens and insert a + sign after the parameter ID (variable name) so that the value of the variable is output in the label including the unit.
- If required, insert one or more AutoCAD points, a AutoCAD circle or a AutoCAD line as docking point(s) or docking boundaries for the reference lines by entering POINT, CIRCLE or LINE in the command line and placing the corresponding element. Note: If you do not add any of the named AutoCAD elements to the label, a virtual box will be automatically created around the label, which is used as a docking boundary for reference lines. When using virtual boxes, the contents of the individual labeling variables of different lengths are automatically taken into account.
- Save the label file and close the drawing. The changes have been saved in the label file.
- Click to reload the label. By default, labels are loaded at program startup and must be refreshed after making changes. The following message appears:
- Click OK.
