About Tichelmann Circuits

Explains the concept of Tichelmann circuits.

With LINEAR Building, you can create Tichelmann circuits in the Radiator design, Cooling convector design, Panel heating and Panel cooling modules.

In ring laying according to the Tichelmann system, the pipes are routed so that the sum of the lengths of the supply water and return water pipe lengths from the generator or manifold to each load are approximately identical. This means all loads are subject to approximately the same pressure drops and receive the same volume flows without the use of control valves. This results in a hydraulically compensated system with the least possible resistance.
