Details on Connect manually (Rigid connection)
For information on the Connect manually < command, see Rigid connection under Piping.
The availability of the described commands for drawing in, connecting and configuring pipes may vary depending on the trade and planning type.
You are here:
Connect manually <
This command allows you to automatically connect certain objects (e.g. radiators or symbols) to the appropriate pipes. Unlike the Rigid connection < command, with this command you can make different specifications for the connection.
Vertical offset first: From the route, there is first a vertical jump before the pipe is routed horizontally to the radiator.
to the back: Viewed from the radiator, the connecting pipe is first routed horizontally to the rear at the specified distance before the pipe is drawn down and finally connected to the pipeline corridor. With to the button you can pick the dimension for the distance from the drawing.
Height offset: From the pipeline corridor, the connecting pipe is first led upwards with the specified distance, then goes horizontally and further up to the connections of the radiator. With the button you can pick the dimension for the height offset from the drawing.
Offset symbol: By activating the Offset symbol option, the offsets can be provided with offset symbols so that they are also visible in the top view.
Node: Activation of the Node option marks the connection point of the connecting pipe to the existing pipe with a node.
Loop in: The loop in option connects the objects in-line at the cold and hot water pipes. The option can be used only with sanitary pipes.
