Details on Floor heating manifold

Information about the Floor heating manifold dialog.

You can either enter the floor heating manifold data freely or use the List tab to import a set of floor heating manifolds from LINEAR Building file in PRO format. You can then draw and label these manifolds. The manifolds can be connected to supply and return pipes using the Rigid Connect command and can be used for calculation with the program LINEAR Analyse Heating.

You are here:

Tab single

No. / Name / Pressure loss / Mass flow rate / Heat capacity / Heating circuits / Water volume

These fields specify the corresponding data for the floor heating manifold.

Tab list

If you have already designed panel heating and created manifolds in LINEAR Building , you can import these manifolds as a list from the PRO file.

Load

If you have already designed panel heating and created manifolds in LINEAR Building , you can import these manifolds as a list from the PRO file.

Clear

To remove the manifolds from the list before loading manifolds from a PRO file again, click the Clear button.

Design temperatures

Specifies the design temperatures for the connected panel heater(s).

Get data

You can use this function to display data of a floor heating manifold to view on the tab individually. Click Get data << and select the desired manifold.

Assign data

Change the data of a manifold, such as Name, Pressure loss or Mass flow rate and click the Assign data < button. Select the manifold to receive the changed data. In the process, any existing labeling of the manifold is updated. Changing the number of heating circuits does not affect the drawn manifold. In this case, the manifold has to be redrawn.

Draw <

After clicking Draw < you can place the manifold in the drawing according to the default settings. The manifold then hangs at the mouse pointer to select a position in the room.

Labeling <

Click Labeling < and select the manifold to be labeled. Place the label block in your drawing and determine the rotation.
