Details on Correct Component Connector
Information on the dialog Correct component connections in connection with the Revit MEP import.
In the Correct component connections dialog, you can correct the connection types, their nominal diameters and, if necessary, the pressure ratings of the component connections. After confirming your entries, you can decide whether the correction is applied only to the selected component or to all components of the same component type. You can use this command, for example, to correct the universal connections that were created during the Revit MEP import. Define the corresponding connection types with their nominal diameter and, if applicable, pressure rating and, after confirming, decide whether the adjustments should be applied to all components of this type. After leaving the dialog with OK, existing pipe connectiors at the connections are checked and corrected if necessary. This can be used, for example, to create (mating) flanges that were previously missing due to the connection not being defined or being defined incorrectly.

Table of component connections
Column | Description |
---|---|
Position | Displays the x, y and z coordinates of the component connection. |
Connection type | Defines the connection type of the component connector to be assigned. When you open the dialog, the current connector type of the connection is displayed. |
Nominal diameter | Defines the nominal diameter of the component connection to be assigned. When opening the dialog, the current nominal width of the connection is displayed. |
Pressure stage | Specifies the pressure rating for flange connections so that the correct design can be determined when modeling the flanges. |
