Pipe Tables

Explains the concept of Pipe Tables in Pipe network calculations.

Determine in the Pipe tables which pipe systems are to be used for calculation. A pipe system contains components like straight pipe, bends, T-pieces and transitions. All components from manufacturer pipe systems have article numbers which also will be output in the parts list. Manufacturer pipe systems can also contain connector material for discharge valves and radiators which can be assigned and also be output in parts lists.

The selected material from the pipe tables can deviate from the material used in the drawing. This gives you the ability to compare calculation results of different pipe or duct systems without having to make changes in the drawing.

Pipe tables are one part of the basis for calculating and dimensioning the pipe or duct network. Pipe tables are employed when creating parts lists.

For the first calculation, a neutral pipe system and the manufacturer User-defined is selected. If you want to use manufacturer pipe systems, select the desired manufacturer under Product data. Subsequently, the pipe systems from the manufacturer will be available in the pipe tables in addition to neutral systems. You can use only one manufacturer pipe system within a project.

Pipe tables are sectioned into the tabs Rigid pipes and Flexible pipes.

Install an appropriate data set to use manufacturer systems. Manufacturer datasets can be downloaded via the LINEAR Installation Center. Which dimensions are available depends on the selected system.
