About Own 3D Components

Explains the concept of self-defined 3D components.

If you have 3D components in your project that do not come from the LINEAR library, you can add connections to them using the Create component connector command and define the connector and connection type using the Edit component connector command. In the Components dialog in the area of the same name, a component with defined connections can be added to the component libraryand then placed and connected in the drawing. The Classification command from the Calculation area can be used to classify the newly created 3 D component after placement and make it available for calculation.
