RAUCAD - Planungssoftware

The REHAU calculation software RAUCAD offers a professional, AutoCAD-based CAD program for the design, dimensioning and invitations to tender. RAUCAD enables simple drawing, calculation and dimensioning of 2D and 3D pipe networks for the fields of heating, drinking water, drainage water and stormwater. The software’s integrated assistant contains all required functions. With the integrated layout generator, pipe networks can be created and calculated in a standard-compliant manner with just a few clicks. The user is guided through the design process step-by-step by the easy-to-use program. RAUWIN contains the basics of building technology, starting with the U-value calculation, through the heat load calculation and up to REHAUs radiant heating and cooling system for floors, walls and ceilings.

In the data network with AutoCAD or CADinside, measurements are taken directly from the drawings. Radiators, radiant heating/cooling systems and labels can be transferred directly to the drawings.

As the basis in CAD, DWG and DXF files, as well as PDF files and images, can be used.

CAD-Browser

The clear and easy-to-use REHAU CAD-Browser offers detailed and millimetre-precise product drawings in multiple views. Using the composition function, the user integrates the products true-to-scale into the design drawing. The products are available in 2D and 3D representations. The CAD Browser works in combination with the Autodesk products AutoCAD and REVIT. You can use the clipboard function to transfer the drawing to any CAD system that supports the DWG file format.

CAD-Portal

The REHAU CAD-Portal is the online version of the CAD-Browser. However, these products are completely available online, which means it is no longer necessary to install them separately on the computer. Whether you use a smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC: this web application can be used on any device, as only a current web browser is required.

If using a PC with a Windows operating system, you can install a small tool (liNear Web Helper Plug-in) and then use it to transfer the CAD drawing directly from the CAD portal into your AutoCAD drawing, label it and create the bill of material.

BIM - Building Information Modeling

Building Information Modeling (BIM) describes a method to display building structures and all of their associated information over their entire life cycle. Before the groundbreaking even takes place, all building data is combined and interlinked with software to create a virtual building model that all project participants work with.

Using this method, potential conflicts and problems can be avoided before they lead to delays and changes at the construction site. This minimises planning risks, increases project quality and optimises the accuracy of scheduling and costing due to greater transparency and control throughout the construction process. The completed building data model can also be used for facility management purposes.

BIM describes the working method; its execution, however, requires suitable software tools and, above all, product data from the manufacturer. REHAU therefore offers its customers the following product data for use with the BIM platform REVIT.
