Welcome to our new course "Panel Heating", in which we will show you the many ways in which you can effectively design panel heating systems. Our focus is to provide you with an in-depth understanding of how to design and implement such systems using LINEAR Building. Here you will learn how to select the optimum heat transfer areas for each room based on the required heat load and how to design panel heating systems efficiently. We also provide you with a comprehensive database of manufacturer data covering a wide range of floor, ceiling and wall systems to help you make your selection. To simplify the process, we offer you the option of using general default settings for a quick layout, which can then be individually adapted to each installation area. In addition, detailed reports ensure that you are always informed as to whether the designed panel heating systems meet all the necessary criteria. The project overview also makes it easier to replace systems at a later date, so that you can always react flexibly to changes in the course of the project. Let's discover the most effective solutions for your panel heating projects together.
Course: Panel Heating
Course content
General Information
Starting the Module and Basic UI Elements
System Preselection
Quick Dimensioning of the Panel Heating System
Detecting Panel Heating Systems in the Room
Adjustments in the CAD Model and Optimization Functions
Pipe Run View and Integration of Radiators
Dimensioning Ceiling and Wall Heating Systems and the Material Compilation
At the beginning of the course, we will show you how to make a system preselection and access a large number of manufacturer data sets.
We then carry out a quick dimensioning. Using a list, you can see all available installation areas and assign an installation system. You can also easily assign the panel heating distributor and pipe run number, surface covering and insulation type. An initial dimensioning of the selected systems can now be carried out automatically.
After the quick dimensioning, we look at the detailed dimensioning for each room. Here you can define zones down to the last detail and carry out a detailed dimensioning.
We will also show you how to synchronize with your model. You can transfer data in both directions and thus carry out a continuous comparison.
We also show you the work in the pipe run view, where you can also make adjustments.
In addition to underfloor heating, we also look at wall and ceiling heating systems and show you how to integrate them into the design.
Finally, you will receive a complete list of materials, including the manufacturer's prices if required.
