New e-learning course: Calculation of Quantity Takeoff (Ventilation)
In this course, you will learn how to create tender-ready quantities with corresponding short texts on the basis of a fully dimensioned ventilation model in Revit using the quantity takeoff tool (ventilation), which can be further processed directly in your tendering software.
Course: Calculation of Quantity Takeoff (Ventilation)

1. Introduction
2. Overview of the calculation
2.1 Preparing the model
2.2 Initial calculation

2.5 Adjusting the configuration, loading, saving
2.6 Long text & CAD Browser
2.7 Export
Based on the dimensioned ventilation network, all components can be classified according to cost groups. If desired, the program can automatically suggest classifications according to various standards. The same applies to IFC classification, which can be carried out in the same step.
We then start the quantity takeoff and receive all quantities from the model. Optionally, only sections or the current view can be included in the quantity determination.
We will focus on the configuration options that have a direct influence on the measurement calculation and the display of the short texts.
In addition to the short texts, you can also include the long texts in the takeoff and configure them according to your requirements.
Once everything has been set, the export can be carried out as a GAEB-compliant X81 file or in MMC format. The export can also be checked directly in Revit using a component list.
