Dynamic cooling load calculation course now available in e-learning!
In this course, we will show you how to use the LINEAR Building Cooling Dynamic module. Together we will create a dynamic cooling load calculation in accordance with ASHRAE and VDI 2078. The courses are available to all LINEAR customers free of charge.
Course: Dynamic Cooling load VDI2078/ASHRAE
1. General Information
1.1 General (Start LINEAR Building)
1.2 User Interface and Configuration
1.3 Settings and Room Settings
2 Profile and Climate Settings
2.1 Usage Profiles, Temperature Profiles
2.2 Location and Climate Data VDI2078/ASHRAE
3 Protocol Evaluation, Building Envelope, Window Configuration and First Overview of Results
3.1 Protocol Evaluation and Building Envelope Settings
3.2 Window Configuration and First Overview of Results
At the beginning of the course, we will show you the user interface of the module. The intuitive UI will help you to quickly find your way around.
We will then go into the basic settings that you can define for your project.
By creating different usage and temperature profiles, you can view each room individually.
You have the option of selecting from various sources as well as from weather data already included in the software to map the exact location of your project.
We then look at the log analyses and look specifically at the enveloping surface settings.
With the help of the window configurator, you can realistically visualize all the window systems used in the project.
We also show you the details of all internal loads. Here you can define load profiles for people, lighting, machinery and equipment, infiltration and throughput rate and assign them to the individual rooms.
The results can be printed out and evaluated as a diagram in the software.
The annual simulation is also part of the Building Cooling Dynamic module. We will demonstrate the application and analyze the results.
