First we will show you how to classify all components according to different IFC standards using the LINEAR classification. The program can automatically make suitable suggestions, which you can adapt if necessary. This increases the quality of your data transfer to other planning participants via IFC.
Also in the classification table, you have the option of classifying all components according to cost groups in order to subsequently use them in the course of cost planning. Various cost groups are also available here.
We also demonstrate the customization of given classification schemes and the possibility of creating of your own classifications. This gives you the possibility to use any kind of data in your model by means of classification. As an example, we use classification to assign maintenance intervals.
After the classification sheet is created you can easily use it in the LINEAR classification.
