Industry partner update: SitaVasant – The rapid way to drain parapets
Our industry partner Sita has expanded its product data set. “So flat and so powerful!” – is often the first reaction to the SitaVasant Attikagully. With its ultra-flat, only 46 millimetre high inlet cup, it has minimal impact on the thermal insulation. A pre-installed inlet cup, which accelerates the drainage dynamics, ensures rapid drainage performance. For main drainage, it removes up to 3.3 liters per second from the roof, and up to 2.3 liters per second for emergency drainage.
Emergency drainage included. A gully with two separate inlets that function independently of each other – that is the special feature of the SitaVasant Double. Main drainage and emergency drainage are combined in one gully and only require one penetration in the parapet. In the event that the water level on the roof rises to the emergency drainage level, an emergency drainage channel, which is 35 mm higher than the main drain, discharges onto a freely floodable area. It is simply inserted through the gully and the stainless steel connection pipe. As it sits elevated in front of the gravel trap, it forms an autonomous emergency drainage unit that remains functional even if the main drainage system becomes blocked due to the entry of leaves or foreign bodies or is simply overloaded by heavy rainfall.
