Details on Technical Data for Differential Pressure Transducer

Information about the technical data dialog for Differential pressure transducer.

Similar to the differential pressure closed-loop controller, there is also a technical data dialog for differential pressure transducers. Here you may also apply a valve specifically for this component or take a valve over from the valve preselection.

You are here:

Name

Specifies the name of the component. You can modify the name. Clicking restores the default setting.

Valve data

Select valve...: By using the Select valve button you can select a manufacturer-specific differential pressure transducer which you then may assign to the selected component via the Apply button. Further valves can be read in via VDI3805 interface in the Select armature series dialog.

The selected differential pressure transducer with appertaining specific data will be displayed in the dialog after selection. The range of available differential pressure transducer depends on the installed manufacturer data sets.

Reset: The Reset button resets the manually assigned differential pressure transducer to a neutral model.

Info...: Opens the dialog Information about this valve with further values and information stored in the data set.

Nominal diameter

In this drop-down list the current nominal diameter of the valve is displayed. Here, you may select a dimension from the drop-down list to which the valve will be set. The set nominal diameter will be used for the calculation. Via the free option from the drop-down list you may have the program do the dimensioning and assign a nominal diameter based on calculation results.

The new nominal diameter selected by the program will subsequently be displayed when you open the dialog the next time.

kvs

Defines the flow coefficient of the differential pressure transducer system.

Further data

The current values for mass flow rate and pressure loss are displayed here.
