Transferring Data from Rooms

Shows step-by-step how to transfer data from rooms in a link into your Revit model.

Navigate to:

When detecting the building in LINEAR Building, data from spaces such as the room name or apartment assignment can be detected. If such data is available in the rooms, you can transfer it to the corresponding spaces before detecting the building.

Procedure

  1. Open the Data transfer from rooms section.

  2. If you want to use the data for the entire project, deactivate the Only in active view option.
  3. Activate Apply name and/or Apply number if you want to apply these parameters.
  4. If necessary, adjust the variables of the parameters.
  5. If the rooms contain additional parameters that you want to apply, activate Apply further parameters.
  6. To specifically select other shared parameters, click .

    The Apply further parameters dialog opens.

  7. Activate all desired parameters and confirm your selection with OK.
  8. Click Data transfer from architectural rooms <.

Results

A confirmation is displayed and the data is visible in the properties of the respective spaces.
