Setting the Thermal Bridge Supplement Individually

Shows step-by-step how to set the thermal bridge supplement at the component in the room.

Before you begin

You would like to set thermal bridge supplements in your project in the room directly at the component.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Heat load ➤ Project level ➤ General heat load data

Procedure

  1. Open the drop-down list Thermal bridge supplement.
  2. Select the Individual determination category.
  3. Switch to the desired room in the building structure.

  4. In the row of the corresponding component, click in the cell of the ΔU(wb) column and then click .

    The Thermal bridge supplements dialog opens.

  5. Select a thermal bridge supplement from the table or insert a user defined variable under Add Variable. Confirm by clicking OK.
    Tip:

    You can also edit the table of thermal bridge supplements under Master tables ➤ Variables ➤ Variables standard areas (heights, temperatures...) ➤ W Thermal bridge supplements directly.

Results

An individual thermal bridge supplement was set for the component.
