Setting the Thermal Bridge Supplement Individually

Shows step-by-step how to set the thermal bridge supplement on the building component in the room using the EN 12831 (2003) calculation basis.

Before you begin

You would like to set thermal bridge supplements in your project in the room directly at the component.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Heat load ➤ Room level ➤ Transmission

Procedure

  1. In the row of the corresponding component, click in the cell of the ΔU(wb) column and then click .

  2. Select a thermal bridge supplement from the table or insert a user defined variable under Add Variable. Confirm by clicking OK.

    You can also edit the table of thermal bridge supplements under Master tables ➤ Variables ➤ Variables standard areas (heights, temperatures...) ➤ W Thermal bridge supplements directly.

Results

An individual thermal bridge supplement was set for the component.
