Details on Ventilation
Information on the Ventilation section in the Heat load tab of the room level.
You are here:
Hygienic minimum ventilation heat loss
Supply air - activated: This room is treated as a supply air room in the calculation. The appropriate air exchange rate is selected from the standard in combination with the ventilation system that you selected at the project level. For wet rooms, such as bathrooms, this option is deactivated by default.
Disabled: This room is considered in the calculation as an extract air room or as an overflow air room. The appropriate air exchange rate is selected from the standard in combination with the ventilation system that you selected at the project level.
The minimum ventilation heat loss results from the hygienically required minimum air volume flow, which is determined from the air change rate. The minimum air change rates are defined in the standard. The value can be adjusted manually and is then displayed in bold. Clicking on opens a context menu in which you can choose between the options Reset to value from CAD and Reset to calculated value. Clicking on Reset to value from CAD enters the value that was determined from CAD when the building was created. Click on Reset to calculated value to enter the standard air change rate.
Alternatively to the air change rate, an area-related volume flow can be entered. The net room volume is automatically taken from the general room data.
Clicking opens the Minimum air exchange rate dialog, in which you can select a standard-based minimum air exchange rate depending on the room type and the ventilation concept.
