The component code of an air duct component is marked as possibly incompatible

Problem

When creating the parts list for the e-klimaX export, the message Part type may be incompatible is displayed for an item. Component code n is assumed. to be output.

Cause

The part code does not exist in the component or component family. Based on the parameters stored in the component, the component code is assumed, but can not or not uniquely assigned.

Solution

Procedure

  1. Select the relevant component in the Parts list e-klimaX dialog and choose the Select corresponding components in project function to display the component in the model.
  2. Double-click the part to open the Family Editor.
  3. In the Revit ribbon, choose CreateProperties sectionFamily Types to open the Family Types dialog.
  4. Create a new entry with the New Parameter button at the bottom left of the dialog.
    The Parameter Properties dialog opens.

    The Shared Parameters dialog opens.

  11. Confirm the entries by clicking the Apply button. Exit the dialog by clicking OK.
  12. In the Revit ribbon, in the Family Editor area, click the Load into Project button.
  13. Revit asks whether the existing version should be overwritten. Click Overwrite the existing version and its parameter values.
