Section/delivery lengths <

Starts the function for dividing pipes into delivery lengths and ducts into section lengths, taking the settings into account. A prerequisite is that the pipe or duct class used contains suitable connectors.

Length

The length that a pipe or duct section should have. The program divides the selected pipes or ducts into sections of the length specified here. The section or delivery length is exceeded only if, after cutting, pieces remain that are shorter than the specified minimum length.

Minimum length

The Minimum length that a pipe or duct section must have. If after cutting there are leftover pieces with a length less than the minimum length, they are added to the last section or delivery length.

Delete union <

The Delete union < function can be used to merge ducts or pipes that have already been divided.

Assign fitting length <

Starts the function to assign fitting lengths to individual air ducts, taking into account the entered length. All selected sewer junctions are assigned to the set fitting length and are displayed shaded in red when the sewer is selected. Exit the function with Esc. The length is preset to 200 mm according to DIN 18379. If you would like to export the air duct network to e-klimaX, you can make settings for the required loose flanges in the Flange profile configuration dialog.
Important: Make sure that a duct incl. assigned fitting length is still within the deliverable section/delivery length. If necessary, manually adjust ducts that are too long.

Elongating Fitting <

For the discipline Ventilation, it is possible to replace remnants on branches with elongated fittings using the function Elongate fitting <. A prerequisite is that the respective fitting has the corresponding parameters.
