Details on Technical Data for Valves
Information on the technical data dialog for valves.
Depending on the program version, you can choose between neutral valves and manufacturer valves.
You are here:
Name
Specifies the name of the component. You can modify the name. Clicking 
restores the default setting.
Settings
Once the valve has been previously defined as a particular manufacturer valve by you with the help of the Define component function, the pertaining data will be displayed here. Please note that the use of manufacturer data is not available in all program versions. Subsequently, the valve will be dimensioned automatically by the program for the time being. Further, there is the option to select the shut-off valve manually.
Neutral valve
You may set the kv-value or the Zeta value of the valve here. With respect to the Zeta value, there is the option to choose between automatic detection or manual setting.
Pressure loss characteristic: 
Using this button you may print the appertaining characteristic curve diagram.
