Information about the dialog Valve in the pipe network calculation heating and potable water.

In the Global preselection tab, the valves intended to be used in the project are determined. If for a valve type several models are selected, the valve best suited is automatically calculated and inserted by the program.

In the Local assignment tab further valves can be specified to be used for individual components. You can then assign valves to individual components in your model-

Description

Product description

Displays the manufacturer, the model and the type of the selected valve.

Application in project as

Displays the valve type to which the data of the selected valve will be applied.

Add...

First opens a context menu for setting the valve type and then the Select valve series dialog, from which you select the manufacturer, valve type and version and add them to the table.

Delete

Deletes the selected valve from the table.

Info...

Opens the info dialog for the selected valve. In addition to general information about the valve, the characteristic curve and the setting values are displayed in relation to the selected dimension.

upward, downward

Changes the order of the valves for a better overview.

Assign < (only Local assignment)

This function allows you to specifically assign a valve from the list to individual components in the model.

Search < (only Local assignment)

This function allows you to select a component in the model to have it highlighted in the list.

(only Local assignment)

If you select a model series from the list, you can use the arrow keys to display the objects of this model series one by one in the model. The program zooms in on the individual components. When you select a model from the list, parentheses indicate the number of existing components.

Remove < (only Local assignment)

Deletes the assignments of the selected model series in the model. When you click the button, the program will first ask if you would like to delete the assignments.
