Installing Softlock Manually
Shows step-by-step how to install your softlock with LINEAR Admin manually on your license server.
Before you begin
You received your .linlic license file and would like to install the softlock with LINEAR Admin on your license server.
Requirement:
All the points mentioned on the Prerequisites for installing software protection page are taken into account.

You can also install your softlock automatically without LINEAR Admin.
Procedure
- Click Import license file....
The Import license file dialog opens.
- If necessary, navigate to the location of your .linlic license file and open the file. Tip:
The name of the file is composed of the dongle number and the file extension *.linlic.
The license file is read out.
Results
The license data has been read successfully and your softlock has been installed.
