Updating the Server's Software Protection Licenses Automatically
Shows step-by-step how to automatically update the software protection licenses of the license server.
Before you begin
You received an updated .linlic license file and would like to use this file to automatically update the software protection licenses of your license server.
Requirement:
All the points mentioned on the Prerequisites for installing software protection page are taken into account.
Navigate to:
Tip:
You can also manually update the software protection licenses with LINEAR Admin.
Procedure
- Save the .linlic license file on your license server.
- Run the .linlic file by double click.
The license file is automatically read out by the LINEAR Installation Center.
Results
The license data has been read in successfully and the software protection licenses of your license server have been updated.
