Releasing Network Program Licenses in LINEAR-Software
Shows step-by-step how to release network licenses of program modules within the LINEAR-software.
Before you begin
You would like to release licenses of program modules within a LINEAR-Software so that the licenses can then be used by other users in the network.
Requirement:
All the points mentioned on the Prerequisites for installing software protection page are taken into account.
Navigate to:
The following example shows the release of licenses in Revit. You can reach the corresponding dialogs of the program licenses in AutoCAD and LINEAR Building as follows:

Procedure
- Click the button Further options
. The following context menu opens:
- Select Program licenses....
The Program licenses dialog opens.
- Deactivate the checkboxes for the corresponding modules in the column Status in use.
The status of the modules changes to available.
Results
You released the licenses of the modules. The licenses can now be used by other users on the network.
