Details on Component Properties T-piece

With this function, when the command is executed, a T-piece is automatically placed in the appropriate location in the existing pipe after a pipe connection is selected.

Material

Manufacturer: Select a manufacturer from the drop-down list.

Material: Select an appropriate pipe material from the drop-down list.

Working pressure: Use the drop-down list to set the appropriate working pressure for the component.

Refresh material file...: If during the design process new materials were added that are not yet available for selection, you can update the material file by clicking this button.

Dimensions

Type: Select the required building type of the T-piece from the drop-down list.

Inlet, Outlet, Branch:

Use the three drop-down lists to set the nominal sizes for the T-piece. For this, the respective parameter must be selected by activating the radio buttons. On a T-piece, the nominal diameter of the inlet always corresponds to the nominal diameter of the outlet.

Insulation

Material: Click on to open Tables of insulation. In this table, insulating materials are registered or deleted. The insulating materials included in the table can be selected from the dropdown-list.

Thickness: Clicking on this button opens a list where you can select the desired insulation thickness. You can change the values displayed to the right, except for the value in the activated DN field. You can enter the value for the thickness of the insulating material or overwrite the value selected with the button.

The button Component change open a menu. Here, you can choose another component instead of the T-piece: Pipe bend, flange, T-piece, transition piece, pipe cap.
