Details on Technical Data for Transition to Tension Release
Information about the component data dialog for tension release in drainage systems.
The transition to tension release can be used in two different situations.
-
The transition to tension release (partial fill) represents a clear transition between the siphonic drainage system and open drainage.
-
The transition to tension release represents a transition from the siphonic drainage system to a tension release section.
You are here:
Transition between siphonic drainage system and open drainage
The transition to tension release has the component name as its properties. This name can be changed and is also used as a system name.
Name
Specifies the name of the component. You can modify the name. Clicking restores the default setting.
Zeta
The zeta value is only taken into account if used in a siphonic drainage system without a pressure relief section part.
Reset: Resets the zeta value to the default value.
Transition from the siphonic drainage system to a pressure relief section part
The pressure relief section parts are still part of the siphonic drainage system. The section parts following in the direction of flow are considered to be pressure relief section parts until the transition to tension relief, house service connection, or emergency outlet. When this transition is used, the flow path pressure loss and the geodetic altitude up to this component are accounted for, since contact with the ambient pressure can be assumed from here on.
Name

Zeta
The zeta value is taken into account when using this component.
Reset: Resets the zeta value to the default value.
